Diocesan Convention garners support

Integrity members joined hundreds of deputies to the Diocese of Lexington's annual convention Feb 24-26 in Morehead, Kentucky. Dozens of people wore Integrity buttons, several parishes expressed interest in becoming Believe Out Loud parishes, and Bishop Stacy Sauls told deputies that he hopes rites for same-sex blessings are approved at the 2012 General Convention of The Episcopal Church.

On December 16th (Friday), Pat Callahan and Anne Miller will host an Advent party at their home, 164 Rosemont Garden in Lexington. Integrity will provide a ham and drinks; please bring a side dish or vegetarian entree to share! The party will start at 6:30pm. Integrity celebrates the registration of the sixth Believe Out Loud Episcopal Congregation in the Diocese of Lexington! These parishes have adopted official welcoming statements that explicitly welcome LGBT persons, and they have published those statements to the public and registered with Integrity.
